Jose Garcia
President
Since starting his recruiting career in 2007, Jose Garcia has focused exclusively on Accounting & Finance recruitment. His career began with roles at Robert Half and Ajilon Finance (now Parker + Lynch).
In 2014, he leveraged this expertise to start The Talent Company, LLC. Jose quickly became a trusted partner for companies seeking to build top-notch accounting and finance teams. Jose felt that although his experience at Robert Half and Ajilon was invaluable, he also believed there was a significant shortfall regarding what those companies could deliver to clients for highly sought-after professionals with Big 4 and 2nd-tier public accounting firm exposure.
“RHI and Ajilon were great in that they gave me the foundation for what to expect from the staffing industry. Although I really respect those companies, I don’t believe they are true specialists. Their recruiters are responsible for filling AP/AR clerks, payroll managers, treasury positions, temp roles, and many other positions within the accounting industry. As a result, many of their clients had to wait a long time to find attractive Big 4 and 2nd-tier professionals. The Talent Company’s goal is to fill this gap for our clients at a fair fee.”
Jose is his clients' go-to expert for candidates with public accounting and public/private accounting experience. As a recruiter, Jose focuses on senior and middle management searches for private industry, consulting, & public accounting roles.
He consistently places over 200+ Big 4 and 2nd tier firm professionals all over the US every year, reflecting his broad impact across several industries and his continuous collaboration with advisory and public accounting firms. He has worked with Home Depot, Warner Brothers, Burger King, professional services firms, several large national consulting & advisory firms, and regional public accounting firms.
He is a University of Southern California graduate with a B.S. in Finance. He resides in Doral, FL, with his wife and two children. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys watching baseball, traveling, and spending time with his family.
